This is what laser tattoo removal looks like. The laser heats the ink pigment, which creates gas bubbles.

This gas rises to the surface of the skin and is released in the form of carbon dioxide.

Whilst this might look a little alarming, there is no cause for concern. We want to see the frosting because this means the laser has penetrated the ink and the body is already going through the healing process.

The frosting is only temporary and doesn’t last very long. In fact, in most cases only lasts for 10-15 minutes.

What tattoo ink colours are the easiest to remove?

The ink colour in your tattoo determines how many treatments you’ll need. Certain colours need more treatments than others.

If you think about the colour spectrum, black absorbs all wavelengths. And absorbs the most heat. Whereas white retracts all wavelengths of light. And absorbs the least heat.

Therefore black and darker ink tattoos are easiest to remove. In this video, I will be discussing this in a bit more detail.

Important to understand that everyone is different and reacts differently and every tattoo is different.
