What is laser tattoo removal?
Laser tattoo removal is a process in which a laser machine works to break down the tattoo ink into tiny little particles. After this, your body works to get rid of that ink. Our laser only targets the ink which means the surrounding skin is not damaged.
Does laser tattoo removal work?
Yes it does. If you have a good tattoo removal machine and a qualified tattoo removal specialist.
Interesting note, 50% the work is done by the laser breaking the ink down. The rest is your body’s ability to effectively flush that ink out.
Our tattoo removal specialists will also give you advice on how to speed up the tattoo removal process.
If you follow the advice, you’ll be saying Goodbye to your tattoo in no time. There is homework to be done, but the results will be worth it.
At Goodbye Tattoos we have qualified staff using the top performing laser tattoo removal machine.
How many laser tattoo removal treatments do I need?
This is a very common question and one that is not straight forward to answer.
To estimate how many tattoo removal sessions you might need, we need to look at a few things. There are many variables we need to consider, such as the type of tattoo pigment; tattoo colour; tattoo layering; health; tattoo location. These are just to name a few. On average, you’ll need between 6 to 10 treatments. However, everyone reacts and heals differently.
It’s important to remember that certain colours take longer than others. For example, black ink is the easiest to eliminate. Whereas colours like blues, greens and reds may require more sessions. You can find more information here.
It’s advisable to wait at least 6 weeks between each treatment.
This is to give the skin enough time to heal and the body enough time to eliminate as much ink as possible.
